Teen Trail Corps PA

We feel that being a mountain biker and giving back to your local trail system go hand in hand. That’s why we’re excited to promote the IMBA/NICA/REI Teen Trail Corps program. We encourage all our teams to get involved and develop the future of not only our sport, but of environmental stewardship as well. Student athletes can become Trail Captains after completing a series of requirements rooted in the International Mountain Bike Association values: Speak, Build, Respect, Ride. Your regional IMBA chapters here in Pennsylvania are listed below. They can help you get started with your volunteer efforts…and can show you a good place to ride too!

Teen Trail Corp hours can count towards series points.
15 hrs trail work = 1st
12.5 = 2nd
10 = 3rd
7.5 = 4th
5 = 5th
All hours have to be recorded during official team or trail club work sessions and must be reported by 8pm the Monday before the last race.
Hours offset lowest score of season. If a race was missed, it replaces that missed race. Top 4 of 5 PA races count for scoring. Teen Trail Corps “race” does NOT count towards the bonus points for participating in all series races.
