Teen Trail Corps PA

We feel that being a mountain biker and giving back to your local trail system go hand in hand. That’s why we’re excited to create and develop the NICA/REI Teen Trail Corps program for our national organization. We encourage all our teams to get involved and develop the future of not only our sport, but of environmental stewardship as well. Student athletes can become Trail Captains after completing a series of requirements rooted in the International Mountain Bike Association values: Speak, Build, Respect, Ride. Your regional IMBA chapters here in Pennsylvania are listed below. They can help you get started with your volunteer efforts…and can show you a good place to ride too!

Teen Trail Corp hours can count towards series points in PA too!
9 hours of trail work = full 25 point bonus in the PA series! (5 points per hour for hours 1-4 and 1 point per hour for hours 5-9).
PLUS
Leaders Jerseys in TTC will be awarded in all grades all season long and the students accruing the most trail hours during the year will receive recognition at the end of the season.
All hours have to be recorded during official team or trail club work sessions and must be reported by 11:59PM on the Wednesday preceding each XC event during the season. We want to know all the hours you accrue, but only the hours reported by the correct time are eligible to be counted toward the season leader board.
Now, get in touch with your local group that is doing this super awesome work!
