Teen Trail Corps Weekend

PICL’s weekend to focus on and celebrate Teen Trail Corps and what we gain by giving back to our communities.

Whether by region or team, on a team project or with a local trail club, at your local park, or in PA state forest, or at a PICL site, this is the weekend we encourage you get out and give back to the trails we all love.

When we give back to trails we’re also giving back to our local communities! Trails offer opportunities for other forms of outdoor recreation and contribute to community health, wellness, and economic growth. Of course we’re giving back to the mountain bike community too! As we do this we build relationships that lead to greater access and contribute to discussions about the investments that our communities make in recreation for all.

Plan a day or two of trail work with your team. Get together in the region with other squads. Do a little trimming. Be part of a trail organization’s build project. Knock out some of your TTC Captain requirements in the process. And no matter what, get in a ride too! — That first roll you take down the trail that you just made better is a great feeling.

TTC Power of One Team Award

All teams who meet or exceed 85% of student-athlete participation in contributing at least 1 hour of trail work on TTC Weekend will be recognized.

Calculations based on:

  • hours logged beginning at 12:01 am on Saturday, July 29th through 11:59 pm on Sunday, July 30th

    • and

  • number of registered student-athletes on the team by the close of the competition.
