VOLUNTEER

PICL is always seeking dedicated people willing to share their time and talent to make this amazing opportunity available to more students and more communities across the Commonwealth.

Volunteers take our league to a higher level - PICL simply wouldn’t be possible without them. From Coaching to Event Production, Special Forces to single-shift event roles, take a look at the available opportunities and get involved!

Event Production

To offer events for students in more places as we grow into new parts of PA requires the in-depth training of a dozen or more Event Production team members for each conference expansion. We see a future in PA that supports at least three conferences across the Commonwealth, but we only get there when you join in to help make it happen by coming aboard the Event Production Team!

Event Production team members – Volunteer Coordinator, Operations, Course Setting, Event Management, Registration, Merchandise, Timing, Race Official, and Chief Course Marshal – are the people who come together to make the events happen. Event Production support roles include Announcing, Photography, and Videography.

To learn more about these roles, please contact League Director, Mike Kuhn.

Special Forces

Do you like the idea of investing in events, but don’t have the time for an Event Production position? Enlist with Special Forces!

Special Forces are often parents and other non-coach individuals who are willing to harness the POWER of ONE to make event weekends a success. Special Forces volunteers get first dibs on their favorite event weekend volunteer role and are committed to that role for the weekends that they’ll be in attendance. As a thank you, Special Forces members get to sport exclusive PICL swag and can skip the volunteer signup process.

To Enlist with Special Forces, please contact Volunteering.

Coaching

Both riding and non-riding coaches are necessary to help run local teams. So, whether or not you have children who ride and regardless of whether you ride yourself, there’s a place for you!
