  • Elizabeth Allen (She/Her)

    Elizabeth (Liz) is many things to many people. Elizabeth raced mountain bikes and cross for a decade before moving to the more casual side of riding a bike. She enjoys many aspects of the outdoors and is passionate about promoting greater inclusion and belonging in outdoor spaces and activities. To pay the bills, Elizabeth is the Associate Director of Organizational Development, Training & Culture at Valley Youth House. She also is an Outdoor Recreation Coordinator for Afros in Nature, a small non-profit “sowing seeds of safety” for people of color, has her own Social Media and Consulting business, Turtle Wandering Media and one of the co-founder of The HERD, a 12,000 member Zwift club for online cycling. To round it out, Elizabeth is also a wedding officiant and has performed nuptials for over 2 dozen (mostly) happy couples.

  • Perry Contini

    Perry started mountain bike racing before dirt was discovered… Yes the NORBA (National Off Road Bicycle Association) days in the early 90’s. His love for cycling really got into high gear road riding thousands of miles a year with friends, racing local criterium events and even backcountry skiing and mountain climbing.

    But he returned to become a serious MTB rider with his children Giuliana and Mariella who both became NICA team members during the 2020 season. He and his wife, Paula are small business owners, running an advertising agency (CLC Agency.com) and tech company (OneVision.ai). Perry is energized to be part of the PICL family with a focus on growing the league through effective marketing. One of his greatest joys as a coach for the Pittsburgh North Cycle Team, is watching the kids transform from kid riding a bike, to a skilled cycling enthusiast.

  • Patrick J Engleman

    Patrick J. Engleman is originally from North Eastern Pennsylvania. In the early 1990s, he started riding mountain bikes as a way to get around his hometown. The utility of riding has blossomed to a full blown passion that has grown into racing, advocacy work, trail building, bicycle retail and event promotion.

    During College, Pat became a bicycle courier and became more involved in the cycling community in his adopted hometown of Philadelphia.

    In his professional career, Pat is a High School librarian with a background of teaching Chemistry and Physics for the last twenty years. Besides teaching, he has also coached Women's Lacrosse, the throwing disciplines of Track and Field, Football, and Weightlifting.

    Pat brings a blend of experiences to the PA league. He brings his experience in coaching, education, and event promotion to get more kids on bikes. He has served the student athletes of PICL since the league started as volunteer coordinator, and the director of coaching.

  • Mike Festa

    Mike started racing and riding mountain bikes in NY at the age of 12. He currently lives in Devon, PA with his wife who also rides and races. Off the bike manages a Data and Analytics team for a ticketing company that specializes in college athletics and live events. You can find Mike racing the Mid Atlantic Super Series and cyclocross races across the region riding for his team Philadelphia Ciclismo.

  • Marie Iannucci (She/Her)

    Marie began her involvement with PICL when friends on the core staff dragged her into the woods of Tunkhannock Pennsylvania to volunteer at GRiT Camp, and is now a head coach of the SoMont team. Outside of PICL, Marie is an avid cyclist, specializing in ultra-distance off-road racing for T-Lab Bikes, and is well known for practicing her mantra of “any bike is a mountain bike if you’re dumb enough.” In real adult life, Marie is a CPA and graduate of Pennsylvania State University, and lives in Blue Bell with her partner Pryde and daughter Leena.

  • Marcia Kimler

    Marcia works with youth and adults in the camp industry through mountain biking and other sports programs. She’s a published author, speaker, and volunteer with the American Camp Association. Enduring trail access for everyone is a passion of hers. Originally from Nebraska, she lives in the beautiful woods of central PA with her husband and three sons.

  • Todd Strauss

    Todd’s adult foray into cycling began in 2006 when a group mountain bike ride eventually turned into a cycling team. Todd is founder and former president of Trestle Bridge Racing (TBR), a large Philadelphia area cycling team. Todd has served as the race director of TBR's MTB Races, which are part of the Mid-Atlantic Super Series. Additionally, Todd was previously a USA Cycling official. Todd was also Co-Director of the Mid-Atlantic Super Series (MASS) until 2017, The MASS is one of the premier mountain bike race series in the US running strong since 2000.

    Professionally, Todd is the founder and president of SVE Timing - Mid-Atlantic. SVE is the foremost timing company in the Mid-Atlantic region specializing in running, cycling and multi-sport, working with large scale events and organizations around the country including USA Cycling national championship events, Sea Otter Classic, as well as events for The Philadelphia Phillies, the Philadelphia Flyers and many more.

    In 2015, with three children in elementary and middle school, Todd was one of the founding members of the Pennsylvania Cycling League. Utilizing his experience in the events and cycling industries, Todd took the lead on providing the league with the resources to properly time and score the events. Simultaneously, Todd founded and was the head coach for the Downingtown Composite team. During his tenure, the team quickly grew from 8 riders to 50+ in just a couple of years. Once his children wrapped up their scholastic cycling careers, Todd stepped down from his role on the Downingtown team and transitioned to an advisory role with PICL.
