My name is Len Alansky and I began working as a Race Official beginning with the 2022 season. You will usually see me at the finish line managing the time cuts and working with the timing staff accounting for discontinuations and solving timing discrepancies. 

You will also see me in Pit Zone working through protests with the student athletes and their coaches.  I think my experience as a high school baseball umpire for over 40 years has granted me the ability to methodically assess a situation and apply judgement within the construct of our League rules and guidelines to render fair decisions. 

I’ve been a coach with the Downingtown Team for 8 years and 3 of those years as head coach. Even though my own kids have aged out of the league, I still love riding with the team, getting to know and mentoring the student athletes, and seeing them improve over the course of the season and their PICL career.  

Now, being part of the League race staff has introduced me to a new dimension of PICL, giving me a real appreciation for the work the League staff accomplishes to make positive experiences for the student athletes and coaches.
