COMPETITION

Fun. Inclusivity. Equity. Respect. Community.

Student-athletes of all abilities are welcome. The breadth of PICL local to state level events provide an entrance point for all.

Competition helps student-athletes learn empathy, determination, humility, flexibility, grit, resiliency and that it takes a village to build a successful racer, or put on an event.

State Events bring all teams together for the weekend, Conference Events are one-day races closer to home, Local Dirts are weeknight racing fun between neighboring teams.

“…every time I attend a race I am struck by its positive effect on kids’ lives, many who have just discovered this healthy sport though NICA’s programs.”

Volunteers make it work.

Coaches, event volunteers, and staff are vital to building a robust league. Learn how you can be part of the team here:

“Race days were always the best days. I loved standing on the start line looking to my left and right and desperately hoping I was faster than the people next to me. My heart would beat faster and faster but as soon as he said go everything else would melt away.”
