If pre-riding prior to event weekend, this is the proposed route, but some connections between trails have not yet been completed. Please ride on designated trails only.

    This venue is public.

If choosing to pre-ride prior to event weekend, use trailhead parking (linked). If vehicles need to spill over, please use the adjacent gravel storage lot on Reservoir Dr.

  • Pre-rides are for course preview and should be ridden respectfully at a responsible pace during designated times. Always yield to event staff.

Student-athletes and coaches on course during pre-ride must have their number/coach plate affixed to their bike.

Pre-ride groups are expected to maintain NICA ratio guidelines. Student-athletes may not pre-ride alone.

Riding the course in the days and weeks leading up to the event weekend is permitted. If the course is on private property, please obtain permission from the land manager/owner beforehand. If the course is on public property and you’ll be riding in a large group, please notify the land manager/owner prior to arrival.

Please use care while riding public and private trails as our representation of PICL and NICA greatly impacts relationships with venues and their park and trail users.

  • While PICL racing will be on eastern side of the HMC Trail System, there are additional trails on the western side of the network that are open to the public during our event.

These trails may include a variety of drops and ramps that may encourage riders to get their wheels off the ground and reach beyond their skill set. This part of the HMC trail network is NOT part of PICL activities for the weekend and any injuries that may occur as a result of riding them are not covered by PICL/NICA insurance.

Riding the HMC Trail System is at your own risk and the parents/guardians of riders assume the risk and responsibility for their riders.
