BECOME A COACH
Whether you're an experienced cyclist or simply passionate about helping kids grow, there’s a place for you as a coach.
Our coaches are trusted mentors and highly trained leaders who prioritize the mental, physical, and social well-being of every student-athlete, creating a safe, fun, and growth-focused experience.
Coaching With Purpose
Our coaches are trained through the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA), which is at the forefront of youth sports coaching.
Your coaching journey will be guided by best practices in youth development, leadership, and outdoor education.
Get Started
Step 1: Coaches Can Support Any Team
Hover your cursor over a local school on the team map and reach out using the contact info that pops up.
Is your school “awaiting” a team? You can still coach with us. Reach out to a neighboring team or fill out this New Coach Form, then consider starting a team in your area.
Step 2: Get Registered
To get registered, your team (or the league, if no team) will invite you to our registration platform - Pit Zone.
Step 3: Begin Training
Once registered, you can begin to engage in Coach Training, which offers three levels of involvement:
Level 1 Coach: Supports the team under direction of the Head Coach. Great for new volunteers.
Level 2 Coach: Leads practices and rides with increased responsibility.
Level 3 Coach: Head Coach or team leadership role with full oversight of team operations.
