BRIDGET WHYTE serves as an Outreach & Team Development Coordinator for PICL, where she works to expand access to youth mountain biking and support the growth of teams across Pennsylvania.
With a background in environmental education and outdoor recreation, she has spent much of her career helping young people build confidence in the outdoors. Bridget has worn many hats along the way - backcountry guide, climbing instructor, nature educator, and program manager - and brings that blend of field experience and youth development expertise into her work. She believes youth sports shape resilient, empowered humans, and that outdoor adventure gives kids the skills and stories they carry for life.
In her role, Bridget focuses on making mountain biking more accessible to communities new to the sport, strengthening team support systems, and connecting families to opportunities that foster confidence, stewardship, and belonging.
Outside of PICL, Bridget is often out running, reading, or rock climbing. She’s a devoted Buffalo Bills fan, a novice crocheter, and loves sharing time in nature with her community.
