LAUREN KRESS serves as an Outreach & Team Development Coordinator for PICL, where she works to expand access to youth mountain biking and support the growth of teams in Pennsylvania.

Lauren is a former Team Director with the NorCal NICA League, a Level 3 NICA Coach, and a BICP Level 1 Certified MTB Skills Coach who believes deeply in growing the mountain bike community. Her passion for the sport is rooted in the profound impact that NICA and mountain biking have had on her and her family. For Lauren, this work is about far more than just bikes.

Drawing on her experience, she brings a hands-on, collaborative approach to outreach and team development, supported by strong organizational skills and clear, approachable communication. She is excited to bring this perspective to PICL—supporting team leaders, helping launch new programs, and working alongside communities in Western Pennsylvania to ensure more kids have access to the lifelong benefits of mountain biking.

Lauren is an avid dog lover and especially enjoys riding with her husband, son, and canine companion. The Kress family has traveled across the United States camping and riding bikes.
